Bear Brook Valley | Samantha & Malachy

Samantha’s wedding was a true labor of love and collaboration. Throughout the planning process, we continued to evolve, grow, and develop the style for the couple’s special day. I always tell my clients, “what we start with during our consultation, might not be what ends up at the wedding”! Samantha and Malachy’s wedding was a testament to letting the creative process happen and I could not be more excited about how this beautiful wedding turned out!

The ceremony took place outside at Bear Brook Valley’s beautiful pergola. For this particular piece, we draped the structure in beautiful chiffon that blew effortlessly in the wind. We adorned the corner with a floral piece that pulled in their color palette and style and acted as a pop of color. The guest’s chairs featured a dark and moody mix of greenery that continued the look throughout the entire space. It was just the perfect touch to the already gorgeous ceremony spot.

As guests entered cocktail hour, they were greeted with one of my favorite escort card displays designed by Adorn Market. The pieces were the perfect copper touch that can be seen through every part of the wedding (which we always recommend as a way to stay cohesive in your design approach)! We added greenery to the copper and acrylic wedding sign as the final piece to the already fantastic room.

For the reception, we decided to wow the guests with lush garlands filled with a mix of flowers and textures for a pop of color and interest. To keep the tables still looking simplistic, we went with a clear cylinder pillar candle to add tons of ambiance, but not distract from the garland. Smaller copper votives were filled into the design to keep the theme going. The sweetheart table for this wedding gave us major #goals. Our garland perfectly filled in the curated pieces Samantha collected, and was flawlessly styled to create a major look.

Samantha and Malachy’s wedding was a boho dream! Designing their wedding and bringing their vision to life was so much fun and we’re so excited to share their stunning images.
