Durham Springs | Katie & Dan

Katie and Dan were truly so much fun to team up with when it came to designing their wedding. They were kind, thoughtful, and full of ideas that exuded their personalities (both individually and as a couple)! I can easily say that their wedding day was a reflection of that! Not to mention it was filled with so much love and excitement you could feel it!

The flowers we selected were such a fun mix of wildflowers that were colorful and vibrant. The textures were amazing and each piece was designed to be unique. We wanted the flowers to feel fresh-picked and eclectic, as opposed to uniform and stuffy. It was delightful letting these local blooms shine in their own right without forcing them to look and feel all the same!

The ceremony took place outside in the field of the venue where the pond served as a beautiful backdrop. We added simplistic crates filled with flowers to define where they’d stand, but not overwhelm the natural beauty of the landscape.

After the ceremony, guests were greeted with the cutest little arrangements for the cocktail tables! The reception space had an awesome mix of three different style designs. For the long tables, we used clear bottles to fill in the tables. For one of the round table designs, we created a beautiful lantern with greenery surrounding it. The third design, also for the round tables, was a mix of bottles too.

All of the colorful blooms popped against the white backdrop of the space. It was truly such a wonderful wedding we were so happy to be a part of!
