Winter Micro Wedding in Morristown NJ | Serena & Patrick

Serena and Patrick’s winter micro wedding in Morristown, NJ kicked us off beautifully for 2021. With the temperature dropping and Winter on our minds, we couldn’t help but reminisce about this stunning couple. Serena and Patrick postponed their wedding until 2022 but had a beautiful church wedding on January 2nd, 2021 to tie the knot!

Serena and Patrick officially met their senior year of college at Rutgers Business School. Serena said she sat behind Patrick in a management class her sophomore year but never got the chance to talk. When Serena saw that Patrick was in most of her classes senior year, she took the leap and asked him to an ugly Christmas Sweater after Thanksgiving break where they shared their first kiss! The couple has been together “officially” since June of 2016.

After a few years of dating, Patrick was planning to propose to Serena and had some help from her coworker, Shanda. Serena works at Bulgari and he wanted to get her a Bulgari ring because he knew that would be meaningful to her. While the couple was on a business trip to Italy, Patrick added an impromptu day-trip to Venice (despite Serena explaining Venice is not a day trip city haha.) While in Venice, Patrick booked a gondola ride as a “late anniversary gift” where he proposed to Serena on the Grand Canal. Swoon.

Although we had originally planned for a January 2021 wedding, I can’t help but admire that this beautiful couple decided to go forth and tie the knot despite all the obstacles present this past year.

Serena and Patrick, it was a true pleasure to get to be a part of your day and that we could work together to make it a reality.
