Spring Wedding at Architect’s Golf Club | Megan & Lawrence

Lawrence and Megan were married in May 2021 at Architect’s Golf Club in Lopatcong, NJ. Their style was romantic and simplistic. Their sweet personalities shined with the beautiful color palette they selected for their special day. Elle Studios perfectly captured their beautiful wedding.

 

How did they meet?

Lawrence and Megan met in college. They had mutual friends and performed in the same ensembles. Eventually, they started talking, and their relationship took off from there.

 

 

Lawrence surprised Megan with a trip to Hawaii in the summer of 2019. On one of our days there, they went horseback riding on a mountain. At the top of the mountain, there was a picnic area overlooking the ocean. Lawrence pretended to take a photo of Megan looking at the view, and when she turned around he was on his knee. She said she had absolutely no idea! After the proposal, they decided that they wanted to get married (originally in September 2020) in Lopatcong, New Jersey.

 

After rescheduling their original wedding date from September 2020 to May 2021, the couple I so eager to officially get married, and to share their celebration with their closest family and friends.

 

The couple is also excited to showcase an album from their favorite musician, Lauryn Hill, as their guest book. An artist with a strong sense of pride in her community and its history felt that incorporating artwork that represented both of those things would be a great way to start off their wedding.

 

Megan’s advice to future brides includes: “Don’t get married during a pandemic! Ha, but in all seriousness, find vendors that you are truly excited to work with, and don’t get bogged down in what other people expect of you. This day first and foremost is for you and your partner!”

We couldn’t agree with her advice more! We tell couples all the time that the most important thing to keep in mind while planning your wedding is to have fun. Enjoy every moment, and have a blast with your family and friends. A wedding day is one of those days that you’ll remember for years to come—so do everything you can to make it unforgettable.
