Summer Wedding at Rock Island Lake Club | Kristin & Shane

We were so happy to be a part of Kristin and Shane’s big day in Sparta, NJ! The couple tied the knot on a beautiful summer day at The Rock Island Lake Club. As an NJ wedding florist, no matter how many weddings we do at this venue, it still amazes us how special and unique each wedding is!

Shane and Kristin met while both attending Sacred Heart University. Their paths crossed when two of Shane’s lacrosse teammates were dating two of Kristin’s roommates. They quickly hit it off and started dating.

Shane and Kristin love to travel together, so it was a no-brainer when Shane decided to propose in Kauai, Hawaii! After a 12.5 mile hike, Shane asked Kristin to marry him and captured the special moment on his Go-Pro.

We are so in love with how things turned out for Kristin and Shane’s summer wedding! Their rustic, yet chic-inspired theme was incorporated throughout their floral arrangements and we are absolutely obsessed with Kristin’s dreamy cascading bouquet with a pink and blush color palette. Most of all, we loved Kristin and Shane’s sweetheart table that had the most romantic look and feel!

You could just feel the love in every heartfelt detail of the day including Kristin’s mother’s veil, her grandmother’s blue garter, and Shane’s nana’s wedding rings. The couple’s adorable furry friend, Kona, also was a part of the big day!
