Summer Wedding at Bear Brook Valley | Emma & Sean

We are so happy Emma and Sean chose us to be their florist for their special day. The beautiful couple was married at Bear Brook Valley in Fredon Township, New Jersey on a perfect summer day.

The Couple

Emma and Sean met at Fairleigh Dickinson University. The couple roomed across the hall from each other sophomore year. During their senior year, they became more than just friends and started dating.

Sean proposed to Emma on New Year’s Eve 2019. Emma wanted a private engagement and it was the most perfect proposal in their home in front of their Christmas tree.

When asked what they were most excited about for their wedding day, the couple said, “We are most excited to dance the night away with family and friends!”

The Wedding Day

Emma and Sean put so much thought into the details of their wedding day. One of our favorite details was how Emma honored her mom who passed away in 2018. She had lace trim from her mom’s wedding dress sewn onto a silk robe and she wore her mom’s veil down the aisle. It was such a sweet way to honor a loved one and have them be a part of the wedding day.

The flowers the couple selected for the day were perfect in adding a romantic touch to the Bear Brook Valley ceremony and reception space. We loved the rustic wooden ceremony backdrop that also doubled as a backdrop for their sweetheart table. Emma’s stunning bouquet complimented her gorgeous flowing wedding gown.

We love when our couples include their furry friends in their wedding, Emma and Sean had a greenery necklace made for their adorable dog!
