Winter Wedding at Bear Brook Valley | Ashlee & Danny

We are obsessed with Ashlee and Danny’s snowy winter wedding at Bear Brook Valley in Fredon Township, New Jersey. Bear Brook is one of our favorite venues for a farmhouse-chic wedding and each wedding we do there is unique to each couple.

Getting Ready

Ashlee and her bridesmaids got ready in the spacious bridal suite. The ladies started their morning with mimosas and were pampered by the hair and makeup artists at Almari Beauty and Styled by K. Once ready, Ashlee did a first look with her bridesmaids and the pictures were priceless.

Danny and his groomsmen spent the morning in The Woodford Longue where they relaxed and got ready for the big day. The couple exchanged heartfelt cards and read them before seeing each other at their first look.

 

The First Look

Could you imagine anything more romantic than a snowy first look on your wedding day? Well, Danny and Ashlee had the perfect snowy weather for their first look! The couple opted to do their first look out on the covered patio, making the most amazing pictures that left us swooning.

After the first look, the couple had the opportunity to take portraits with their bridal party before the ceremony. The bridal party was so much fun to work with and were ready to celebrate Danny and Ashlee.

The Ceremony

The couple said their vows in Bear Brook Valley’s indoor ceremony space, which used to be a barn! We worked with Ashlee and Danny to create a lush arrangement for their ceremony arch. The arrangement was made up of greenery, white and blush flowers.

The Reception

We loved all the details that Ashlee and Danny incorporated into their big day. They worked so hard to plan such a beautiful wedding day with so much love and thought put into every single detail of the day.

Check out the unique wedding seating chart that our friends at Adorn Market created for the couple! The seating chart included florals, ceramic vases, and calligraphy.

The sweetheart table was covered in a flower garland and adorned with candles to tie everything together for the most romantic ambiance. They also decorated the rustic, wooden back drop with an arrangement for this that complimented their sweetheart table.

We love the large farmhouse tables at Bear Brook Valley and love working with our couples to create centerpieces that match their wedding style. Ashlee and Danny chose a combination of greenery garlands and several smaller flower arrangements that went down the center of the tables.

Last, but not least, we were excited to decorate the couple’s gorgeous wedding cake. Ashlee also surprised Danny with the coolest groom’s cake!
