Summer Wedding at The Armory | Carissa & Matthew
If you’re looking for inspiration for your industrial-chic wedding, look no further! Carissa and Matthew had a gorgeous summer wedding at The Armory in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. This stunning venue was the perfect location for the couple’s special day.
Getting Ready
Carissa spent with her bridesmaids and getting primped and pampered by her glam team. The ladies were able to relax and hang out before the ceremony and cheers the special couple with a little bit of champagne!
Carissa looked stunning in her lace ballgown, we can’t get over all the details in her gown. We worked with Carissa to create her dream bridal bouquet that consisted of greenery and white and blush flowers.
Carissa’s bridesmaids complimented her look in black mismatched dresses. We love the classy look of the black dresses and how each bridesmaid brings their own style to the dress they select!
Matthew and his groomsmen spent the morning in the groom’s suite hanging out, playing games and getting ready. The groom and groomsmen rocked black tuxes—a classic look for any wedding.
The First Look
We can’t get over how perfect Matthew and Carissa’s first look was! Matthew was so excited to see his blushing bride and Carissa couldn’t wait to see Matthew.
We love a first look because it gives couples an opportunity to get their portraits done before the ceremony. For their portraits, Carissa and Matthew rented the coolest classic car to take pictures with.
The Ceremony
The ceremony space at The Armory allows each couple to put their own personalized touch on the venue. With the gorgeous exposed brick walls, steel beam ceilings, and handmade wooden tables, the venue is so industrial glam!
The couple created a unique hexagon arch that our team created several arrangements for to create a warm and welcoming feel for the ceremony. Our favorite part of the ceremony decor was the gorgeous greenery and candles that lined the aisle, creating the most romantic ambiance.
Matthew was left speechless as Carissa made her way down the aisle. We could just feel the love that surrounded this couple as they said their vows in front of their closest family and friends.
The Reception
We love when we can work with the couple to create pieces that enhance the venue’s natural beauty and we did just that with Carissa and Matthew’s special day. Matthew and Carissa were all about the details when it came to their reception! They put so much thought into the personal touches of their wedding day.
We love it when we can repurpose pieces throughout the day—Carissa and Matthew were able to reuse their ceremony arch as a backdrop for their sweetheart table. And, we are OBSESSED with the stunning greenery chandelier in the center of the room.
When choosing centerpieces for farm tables, you cannot go wrong with a lush garland runner! They created table numbers with photos of themselves throughout their relationship adding the perfect personalized touch.
Last, but not least, we have the wedding cake—or should I say cupcakes!? The newlyweds opted for a small tier for their cake cutting and then a variety of cupcakes—a perfect option for when you can’t choose just one cake flavor!
