Cassidy and Justin’s exquisite fall wedding was held in the picturesque town of Madison, New Jersey. This loving couple united in matrimony amidst the splendid surroundings of a charming church ceremony. Following their heartfelt vows, they welcomed their closest friends and family to an unforgettable wedding reception at The Madison Hotel. As a renowned NJ wedding florist, we take pride in presenting their enchanting October event, the perfect inspiration for anyone planning their own autumn celebration.
The Couple
Justin and Cassidy’s love story began over 11 years ago in their high school Spanish class where they immediately hit it off. They dated through high school and remained together as they dated long distance through college.
The groom, Justin, proposed at the beach at sunset (how romantic)! After the proposal, Cassidy was surprised to have the families waiting for them at a local restaurant.
Getting Ready
Cassidy spent the morning with her bridesmaids getting ready at her childhood home. While the girls spent the morning reminiscing and sipping on mimosas, the glam squad helped create a flawless wedding look for the bride and her bridesmaids.
One of the most memorable parts of the day was that Cassidy wore a robe to get ready in that was made from her mom’s wedding dress!
Cassidy looked absolutely radiant in a magnificent lace gown that seemed to have been tailor-made for her. The intricate details, delicate lacework, and captivating silhouette transformed her into a vision of pure elegance and grace.
The bridesmaids wore dresses in gorgeous shades of burgundy—the perfect fall look!
Cassidy and her bridesmaid’s bouquets were so much fun for our team to design—she wanted to add a pop of color to her day and we incorporated some bold hues in her florals.
Justin and his groomsmen spent their morning getting ready at The Madison Hotel. They rocked classic black tuxedos which exuded confidence, charm, and a dash of old Hollywood glamour.
The Ceremony
We were so excited to design pieces for the altar and aisles for the ceremony at the gorgeous Mary Mother of God Church in Hillsborough, NJ. The couple wanted to incorporate the bold and colorful look they envisioned for their day into their ceremony—we worked to create arrangements that enhanced the natural beauty of the church.
Following the ceremony, the bridal party headed back to The Madison Hotel for portraits on the stunning grounds.
The Reception
Every wedding we have the pleasure of designing at The Madison Hotel is a one-of-a-kind experience. Justin and Cassidy’s celebration was no different, as they poured their hearts into infusing their special day with thoughtful touches and personalization that made it truly unforgettable.
Collaborating closely with the couple, we created a combination of high and low centerpieces with a gorgeous fall color palette for the ballroom tables. The result was a captivating display that effortlessly enhanced the natural romantic ambiance of the venue.
Our favorite arrangement of the day to design was the sweetheart table! It served as the focal point in the ballroom and tied the look together to create the most whimsical and classic feel.
