Winter Wedding at The Farmhouse at the Grand Colonial | Allie & Ryan

Allie and Ryan hosted their gorgeous January wedding at The Farmhouse at the Grand Colonial! These lovebirds were blessed with the most impeccable winter weather for their “I do’s” in Hampton, New Jersey.

With its exposed beams, reclaimed barn wood and vintage fixtures, The Farmhouse at the Grand Colonial is the perfect venue for a modern wedding with a vintage feel.

The Couple

Like many modern couples, Allie and Ryan met online! They quickly hit it off and have been inseparable since! Ryan proposed to Allie while on a trip to Vermont at the Trapp Family Lodge. He hired a photographer and told Allie they were taking pictures for their Christmas card, but he was on one knee when she turned around!

When asked what the couple was most excited about during planning, they said, “We are most excited to celebrate our love story and love for each other with all of our favorite people and to see everything we have been planning and putting together for the past two years.”

Ryan and Allie incorporated their love of the winter, skiing and snow into their day.

Getting Ready

Allie and her squad of fabulous bridesmaids kicked off the morning of her epic day with a whirlwind of fun! Gathered together in the bridal suite at The Farmhouse at the Grand Colonial, they giggled, chilled out and enjoyed some well-deserved pampering. The laughter and love were in the air as they prepped for the big day!

We are obsessed with Alloe’s wedding day look! Her stunning A-line gown looks like it was made just for her. The intricate details, delicate lacework, and captivating silhouette transformed her into a vision of pure elegance and grace.

The bridesmaids rocked gorgeous dusty blue gowns, perfect for this time of the year!

Dressed in sleek navy tuxedos paired with dusty blue ties, Ryan and his groomsmen exuded a refined and dashing style, perfectly complementing the modern theme envisioned for the day.

First Look

The Farmhouse at Grand Colonial is a 330-year-old historical estate set among acres of lush gardens, making the options for backdrops for first looks and photos endless. Ryan was so excited to see Allie, and once the moment finally came, she left him speechless!

The Ceremony

What’s a more romantic backdrop for a winter wedding than a romantic, cozy fireplace? Our team worked with Allie and Ryan to create a lush altar arrangement that helped complement the naturally gorgeous space for their ceremony. Ryan and Allie were surrounded by so much love during their special day! It was so touching to see all their friends and family gathered in one place to celebrate their love.

The Reception

Allie and Ryan poured their hearts into every aspect of their special day—we are obsessed with how everything came together to create the most romantic ambiance!

Collaborating closely with the couple, we created a combination of centerpieces with a gorgeous neutral color palette for the ballroom tables. The result was a captivating display that effortlessly enhanced the natural romantic ambiance of the venue.

One of our favorite parts of the day was the sweetheart table. Perfectly placed in front of the cozy fireplace, the couple’s sweetheart table featured a lush floral bouquet as the focal point. We love designing elements that can be reused throughout a couple’s wedding day—the arches used during the ceremony created the most romantic backdrop for the sweetheart table.

Last, but certainly not least, let’s hear it for the wedding cake! We loved adding a touch of flowers to the cake to tie together the look of the day.
