Spring Wedding at Rock Island Lake Club | Heather & Michael
What a gorgeous wedding day it was at the Rock Island Lake Club for Heather and Michael! We were absolutely over the moon to share their stunning spring wedding in none other than the enchanting Sparta, New Jersey.
Getting Ready
Heather and her bridesmaids spent the morning with her bridesmaids celebrating in the private on-site bridal suite. Her glam squad helped create a flawless wedding look for the bride and her bridesmaids.
Heather looked stunning in her lace A-line bridal gown with off-the-shoulder sleeves. Our team worked to create a bouquet that perfectly complemented her wedding day look. The bridesmaids wore dresses in gorgeous shades of blue and purple—the perfect spring look!
Michael and his groomsmen spent the morning getting ready in the Lakeside Lounge, relaxing and preparing for the big day! Michael and his groomsmen rocked classic black tuxes with black bowties.
The First Look
Talk about a gorgeous first look! The waterfront dock at Rock Island Lake Club is the perfect spot for an unforgettable first look. It’s impossible to look at Heather and Michael’s first look photos without getting teary-eyed!
Following their magical first look, the couple enjoyed a moment to snap some delightful portraits and silly snapshots with their adorable bridal squad.
The Ceremony
The couple’s lakefront ceremony took place under a gorgeous wooden arch. We were so excited to make the couple’s vision of a simple and organic flower arrangement adorning the arch a dream come true. The arrangements throughout the day had the perfect pops of color for a spring color palette.
The couple even had a petal bar where guests could create their own mix of flower petals to toss and they walked up the aisle for the first time as husband and wife!
The Reception
When it comes to the details, Michael and Heather thought of everything! Every detail came together to create the most romantic ambiance. We worked with the couple to add to the unique space that Rock Island Lake Club offers.
Some of our favorite details were their welcome sign with their first conversation or their drink wheel at the bar!
We loved creating these gorgeous centerpieces that adorned the large, wooden farm tables—giving the space the most romantic feel.
Acting as the focus of the reception space, the couple’s sweetheart table featured a lush greenery arrangement featuring an array of colorful flowers.
And last, but certainly not least, let’s hear it for the wedding cake! It looked almost too good to eat!
