Summer Wedding at Bear Brook Valley | Melissa & Andrew
The picturesque Bear Brook Valley in Fredon Township, NJ was the perfect venue for Melissa and Andrew’s summer wedding. Every detail was a testament to their love and impeccable taste, from the morning preparations to the unforgettable reception.
Getting Ready
The morning of Melissa and Andrew’s wedding was filled with excitement and anticipation. Melissa and her bridal party started their day in a charming suite at Bear Brook Valley, where laughter and happy tears filled the air.
The bride looked radiant in her strapless, crepe gown, with a flowing cathedral vail adorned with floral appliqués. Her bouquet featured ranunculus, roses and delphinium which added the perfect pop of color for a summer wedding!
Melissa’s bridesmaids wore satin champagne dresses, each carrying a smaller version of Melissa’s bouquet.
Andrew and his groomsmen got ready in the groom’s lodge, where the atmosphere was equally joyous. Andrew and his groomsmen looked dapper in their classic black tuxedos, with modern boutonnieres.
The First Look
The gorgeous grounds at Bear Brook Valley were the perfect spot for an unforgettable first look. It’s impossible to look at Melissa and Andrew’s first look photos without getting teary-eyed!
After their first look, the couple had time to take portraits and pictures with their bridal party before the ceremony.
The Ceremony
The couple’s lakefront ceremony took place under a gorgeous wooden arch. We were so excited to make the couple’s vision of a stunning flower arrangement adorning the arch a dream come true. The arrangements throughout the day had the perfect pops of color for a summer color palette.
The Reception
When it came to the details, Melissa and Andrew thought of everything! Every detail came together to create the most romantic ambiance. We worked with the couple to enhance the unique space that Bear Brook Valley offers.

Check out the newest backdrop at Bear Brook Valley—a candle wall! This adds such a romantic feel to the ambiance of the ballroom and makes the possibilities for design endless! The couple chose to add a lush spray of florals that tied together their sweetheart table look perfectly.
And last, but certainly not least, let’s hear it for the wedding cake!
