Allison and Dan had a beautiful winter wedding at the Stone House at Stirling Ridge, particularly in their Lodge. It was the perfect winter day; not too cold and not as warm as it was over the past holiday weekend. Allison & Dan’s wedding was our “last” of the wedding season, even though, in reality, it was the beginning of what we thought was going to be an awesome 2020 wedding season. With Allison’s sister slated to be married a few months later at The Ryland Inn, we were beyond excited to be a part of both of their special days.
I will digress, as I’m writing this, we finally *cue confetti* were able to design for Allison’s sister after rescheduling their original March wedding.
Anywho, Allison and Dan were married in front of the STUNNING fireplace at the Stone House. To make a gorgeous fireplace even prettier, we added greenery to give it an organic look and feel. We didn’t want to cover up the architecture and natural stonework that was the focal point of the room; instead, we wanted to enhance it and add color and dimension in a tasteful way.
After the ceremony, guests moved down the hall to enjoy the cocktail hour. The came back to a reception space filled with garlands and all the ambiance from the lanterns and candles that were added to the table.
It was truly such a beautiful event, and we’re so thankful that we got to be a part of these families’ monumental celebrations!
