Venue Spotlight: Bear Brook Valley

We decided to share a new series on the blog, highlighting some of our favorite venues we have had the opportunity to design in. We’re lucky enough to travel to some of the prettiest places New Jersey and Lehigh Valley has to offer, with the help of our client’s impeccable taste in beautiful locations!

With so many locations to choose from, we want to spotlight some of our favorite locations for newly engaged couples, we want to share inspiration to couples in the midst of planning, and we want to share our appreciation for venues that go above and beyond to create a flawless experience from start to finish.

 

So we’re going to kick off this series with one of my personal favorite venues: Bear Brook Valley!

 

 

 

Top 5 Things We Love:

1. The natural lighting of the space is stunning. No matter where you walk, or what room you enter, you’re greeted by the stunning glow of Bear Brook Valley’s picturesque landscape. It’s a photographer (and florist’s) dream to have a space that feels so light and airy!
2. We love the rustic-chic look that Bear Brook Valley provides. We have clients that play off of a more chic and elegant feel, and we have clients that focus on a more rustic look. Either way, the space is the perfect blank canvas to run with your dream wedding vision.
3. The grounds of Bear Brook Valley are picturesque. Let’s be honest here, there’s endless opportunity for stunning pictures. The backdrops are all so beautiful that, truly, I encourage clients to let the natural views speak for themselves.
4. Now more than ever, having a venue with a COVID plan is ESSENTIAL. Bear Brook Valley has truly stepped up to make sure that couples, their guests, and vendors feel safe in their space. They have risen to the occasion to come up with a viable, stunning, and great alternative for couples still getting married during this pandemic. They have handled this situation so eloquently; and I know we’re so thankful!
5. We cannot speak more highly about the staff at Bear Brook Valley. Their team is top-notch and I could write a whole blog post simply on that! But, if you’ve toured Bear Brook Valley or contacted them, you probably already know this!

Favorite Place To Decorate:

We love designing on their beautiful Pergola. It’s such a massive piece and can be adorned in so many ways!

 

 

Hidden Gem:

Bear Brook Valley has recently added a covered “carport” to their property. It’s truly such a great alternative ceremony location or “Plan B” if it rains. I can’t wait to cover the space out there with flowers!!

 

Another option we would recommend is using their wooden backdrop in the outdoor space (like pictured above), and adorning that backdrop with flowers. Then have the backdrop brought in to sit behind your sweetheart table! It’s a great way to dual-purpose your decor and saves the cost of having two separate pieces!
