Spring Wedding at Bear Brook Valley | Katie and Rich
We are obsessed with Katie and Rich’s spring wedding at Bear Brook Valley in Fredon Township, New Jersey. Bear Brook is one of our favorite venues for a farmhouse-chic wedding and each wedding we do there is unique to each couple.
Getting Ready
Katie and her bridesmaids started the day in the bridal suite at Bear Brook Valley. When you entered the suite, the girls were relaxing and getting pampered by their glam squad. You could feel all the excitement and energy of the day and the love surrounding Katie.
The bridesmaids wore various gray dresses—the perfect color to compliment the spring colors in their bouquets. After a few selfies, the bridal party was ceremony ready!
How gorgeous did Katie look in her sheath wedding gown!? Her gown featured lace detailing and a stunning cap sleeve. Our team worked to create a hand-tied bouquet to compliment her look.
In addition to her wedding heels, Katie rocked a pair of custom bridal Converse with lace detail and ribbon laces.
Rich spent his morning getting ready with the guys in The Woodford Lounge. One of the best parts about Bear Brook Valley is the day-of accommodations for both the bride and groom.
Once the guys were ready, they headed outside to take some pictures on the grounds before the first look. The groomsmen were full of energy and were ready to celebrate their friends, Rich and Katie.
First Look
The couple had the sweetest first look as their bridal party and families watched from a distance. Katie left Rich giddy and speechless—it was the cutest thing ever!
The Ceremony
Does it get better than a lakefront ceremony? We love when we get to decorate the gorgeous arch for the outdoor ceremony space. Our team worked with the couple to create arrangements with spring-colored flowers.
After the ceremony, the couple took portraits and photos with the bridal party.
The Reception
Each wedding we do at Bear Brook Valley is unique to the couple and Katie and Rich’s was no exception. The couple thought of every detail and put their own personal touch on their day.
Are you stuck on guest book ideas? We have been seeing the Polaroid guest book more often and wedding guests absolutely love it.
One of our favorite things of the day was Rich and Katie’s sweetheart table. The lush greenery garland with spring flowers and the gorgeous arrangement on the wooden backdrop were so much fun to design. The arrangements featured flowers in purple, pink, and orange making it the perfect color palette for a spring wedding.
The large farmhouse tables at Bear Brook Valley allow an endless amount of centerpieces ideas! We created a simple garland for each table that was complimented by candles to create a romantic ambiance.
