Summer Wedding at Trout Lake | Kelsey & Cliff
Kelsey and Cliff were married in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania at Trout Lake on a sunny summer day. The newlyweds met when they both worked at the same local pizza place. They began as friends and their relationship grew from there! Cliff proposed to Kelsey when the couple was on vacation in the Outerbanks with their closest friends. Kelsey was so surprised!
Trout Lake was a pleasure to design for—located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania, it was the perfect venue for the couple’s rustic-chic wedding day.
Getting Ready
Kelsey and her bridesmaids spent the morning with her bridesmaids celebrating in the private on-site suite. Her hair and makeup team helped create a flawless wedding look for the bride and her bridesmaids. The bridesmaids wore dresses in gorgeous shades of blue—the perfect summer look!
We worked with Kelsey to create her dream wedding bouquet to perfectly complement her stunning wedding gown. The hand-tied arrangement featured a variety of blues, whites, creams, and greenery.
Cliff and the groomsmen spent the morning prepping in their own groomsmen suite. The men rocked gray tuxes with light blue floral ties to compliment the bridesmaids.
The First Look
We are obsessed with Kelsey and Cliff’s adorable first look. The gorgeous grounds and scenery at Trout Lake allow for endless photography opportunities. The couple decided to do their first look on the dock, with the stunning lake view as their backdrop.
We LOVE when our couples get to include their furry friends in their special day—it’s so much fun to design pieces for our couple’s pets.
The Ceremony
What’s more romantic than a lakefront wedding ceremony? The couple said their vows in from of the lake in front of their closest family and friends.
After their vows, the couple had time to take portraits and pictures with their bridal party before the reception.
Kelsey and Cliff were able to sneak out for some golden hour photos during their reception.
The Reception
We loved all the thought and attention to detail that Kelsey and Cliff put into their big day. We had so much fun working with them to design the wedding of their dreams, working to incorporate their personal touch on the day.
Looking for a cute way to incorporate your pets into your big day? Try naming your signature cocktails after them! Cliff and Kelsey honored their best friends by creating two drinks named after their dogs!
Our team worked with the couple to create simple centerpieces that complimented the natural rustic ambiance of the venue. All the tables needed was some greenery and candles to create a romantic look.
The stone fireplace was the perfect backdrop for the couple’s sweetheart table. We design a lush greenery arrangement with a combination of ivory flowers and thistle to create a natural, textured look.
