Summer Wedding at Rock Island Lake Club | Brian & Elise

Another gorgeous wedding at the Rock Island Lake Club! We were honored to be a part of Brian and Elise’s summer wedding in Sparta, New Jersey.

Elise’s and Brian’s love story began when they met both working at Hoffman’s Ice Cream in Spring Lake, New Jersey. Brian popped the question on a summer vacation in 2020 and the couple was married on a beautiful summer day in 2022.

Getting Ready

Elise and her bridesmaids spent the morning with her bridesmaids celebrating in the private on-site bridal suite. Her glam squad helped create a flawless wedding look for the bride and her bridesmaids. The bridesmaids wore dresses in a gorgeous shades of dusty blue—the perfect summer look!

Rock Island features two spaces for the bridal party to get ready in pre-ceremony. It’s the perfect way to spend the morning surrounded by your favorite people! Brian and his groomsmen spent the morning getting ready in the Lakeside Lounge, which is complete with a variety of lawn games that Brian and his friends played to pass the time.

First Look

The grounds at The Rock Island Lake Club make the perfect location for a magical first look. Brian was so excited to see Elise, and once the moment finally came, she left him speechless!

After their first look, the couple had time to take portraits and pictures with their bridal party before the ceremony.

The Ceremony

The couple’s lakefront ceremony took place under a gorgeous wooden arch. We were so excited to make Elise’s vision of a simple and organic flower arrangement adorning the arch a dream come true. The arrangements throughout the day had the perfect summer color palette—cream flowers and greenery.

Their wedding ceremony was absolutely perfect and you could just feel all of the love that Brian and Elise are surrounded by.

The Reception

When it comes to the details, Brian and Elise thought of everything! Every detail came together to create the most romantic ambiance. We worked with the couple to add to the unique space that Rock Island Lake Club has to offer.

We are obsessed with the couple’s wine bottle seating chart, we were so excited to see this vision of Elise’s come to life!

The long, wooden farm tables at Rock Island make a lush greenery garland and candles the perfect centerpieces for the reception—giving the space the most romantic feel.
