Romantic White Roses, Lush Greenery & Timeless Spring Wedding Inspiration in Andover, New Jersey
Some weddings don’t need bold color to make a lasting impression. Charlotte and Leo’s April wedding at The Refinery at Perona Farms proved that thoughtful design, timeless florals, and meaningful details can create a celebration that feels effortlessly elegant.
Surrounded by the natural beauty of one of New Jersey’s most iconic wedding venues, the couple embraced a refined palette of creamy white roses, delicate baby’s breath, and abundant greenery. Rather than competing with the venue’s striking architecture and signature living wall, every floral element was intentionally designed to enhance the space, allowing its beauty to shine.
As a New Jersey wedding florist, these are the weddings we love most—where every bloom has a purpose, every detail feels personal, and the overall design is timeless enough to be admired for years to come.
The day began with beautifully curated details that reflected the couple’s understated style. Their invitation suite featured delicate botanical illustrations, soft sage silk ribbon, and elegant typography—a perfect introduction to the organic, romantic aesthetic that would carry throughout the celebration.
Charlotte’s timeless bridal accessories paired beautifully with her Anne Barge gown, while Leo’s classic black tuxedo was finished with a single white rose boutonniere accented with baby’s breath. These small, intentional details created a cohesive look from the very beginning of the day.

One of the most breathtaking features of The Refinery at Perona Farms is its lush living wall, and Charlotte and Leo knew it deserved to remain the focal point of their ceremony.
Instead of covering the space with elaborate floral installations, we designed a lush floral meadow that framed the ceremony without overwhelming it. Layers of white roses and airy baby’s breath spilled naturally across the front of the aisle, softening the architecture while drawing guests’ eyes toward the couple.
The result was a ceremony that felt romantic, intentional, and deeply connected to the surrounding landscape—a perfect reflection of spring in New Jersey.

Charlotte envisioned florals that would never feel trendy or overdone. By focusing on a monochromatic palette of white roses paired with lush greenery, we created designs that were sophisticated, elegant, and full of texture.
The bouquet echoed that same philosophy—classic white blooms gathered naturally to create a soft, romantic silhouette that complemented the bride’s gown without distracting from it.
Throughout the ceremony and reception, every arrangement was designed with movement and balance in mind, creating an atmosphere that felt fresh, organic, and effortlessly luxurious.
One of our favorite design philosophies is allowing flowers to elevate a space rather than redefine it, and Charlotte and Leo’s wedding was the perfect example of that approach.

As guests transitioned into the reception, they were welcomed into a space filled with warm candlelight, natural textures, and elegant floral accents.
The same white roses and lush greenery flowed seamlessly into the reception design, creating continuity between each part of the day. Rather than competing with The Refinery’s industrial charm, the floral designs softened the space and added warmth while preserving its clean, modern aesthetic.
Every detail—from the stationery to the floral centerpieces—worked together to create an atmosphere that felt inviting, sophisticated, and unmistakably timeless.

Every wedding at The Refinery at Perona Farms offers something unique, but Charlotte and Leo’s celebration was a beautiful reminder that simplicity can often make the greatest impact.
The venue’s dramatic windows, exposed brick, and iconic living wall create the perfect canvas for romantic floral design. By embracing a restrained color palette and allowing the architecture to remain the focal point, every floral element felt intentional and elevated.
It’s this balance between nature, architecture, and thoughtful design that makes The Refinery one of our favorite New Jersey wedding venues.
