After weeks of talking, they met in person just days after Gerald’s birthday. The chemistry was immediate, and only one week later they officially became boyfriends. Looking back, Jose describes it as “love at first swipe”—the beginning of a relationship that would eventually lead them to one of New Jersey’s most beautiful wedding venues, Bear Brook Valley.

On March 29, 2025, they celebrated that journey surrounded by family, lifelong friends, and loved ones who traveled from Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic to witness the beginning of their next chapter together.
