There is something timeless about a blue and white wedding, especially when it is paired with the natural beauty of a historic garden venue. For Mollie and Max’s July wedding at HollyHedge Estate, that classic color palette was brought to life with lush greenery, romantic white blooms, and beautiful blue accents throughout the day.
Set among the gardens and historic charm of HollyHedge Estate, their wedding blended an elegant garden aesthetic with rustic touches that felt perfectly at home in the Pennsylvania countryside. From statement floral installations at the iconic water fountain to greenery woven into the reception chandelier, every floral detail was designed to feel connected to the venue and the landscape surrounding it.

Mollie and Max chose a timeless palette of blue, white, and green for their July wedding. The combination created a look that felt both classic and relaxed, allowing the natural beauty of HollyHedge Estate to remain an important part of the design.
White flowers provided the foundation for the floral arrangements, while blue details added depth and personality. Abundant greenery tied everything together, creating a garden-inspired feeling throughout the celebration.
The result was a wedding design that felt polished without being overly formal—romantic, natural, and completely at home at HollyHedge.

One of the most memorable floral moments of the day was the installation at HollyHedge Estate’s iconic water fountain.
Rather than treating the fountain as simply another part of the venue, the flowers helped draw attention to its architecture and transform it into a focal point for the celebration. Lush greenery and soft white blooms created an organic arrangement that felt as though it had grown naturally around the historic setting.
For couples planning a wedding at Holly Hedge Estate, this is one of the things we love most about floral design: the flowers don’t have to compete with a beautiful venue. Instead, they can help highlight the details that already make the space special.

Another standout floral installation welcomed guests near the barn.
The combination of white flowers and greenery created a beautiful contrast against the rustic character of the barn, bringing together the more refined elements of the wedding design with Holly Hedge’s relaxed countryside setting.
This balance between elegant flowers and rustic architecture was one of the defining elements of Mollie and Max’s wedding. The flowers added softness and romance while still allowing the character of the property to shine through.

The floral design continued overhead at the reception, where greenery was incorporated into the chandelier.
Adding flowers and greenery above the tables is one of our favorite ways to bring a wedding design into an entire room rather than limiting the floral story to the centerpieces.
The greenery overhead helped create an immersive garden feeling while connecting the reception décor back to the lush outdoor spaces at HollyHedge Estate.
Paired with the blue and white details throughout the room, the effect was romantic, welcoming, and beautifully layered.

One of the biggest inspirations for this wedding was HollyHedge Estate itself.
Rather than bringing in a design that felt disconnected from the property, the floral elements worked with the existing landscape, architecture, and character of the venue.
The water fountain, barn, gardens, and reception space each became part of the overall floral story. This approach allowed the wedding to feel cohesive from one part of the day to the next.
As a New Jersey wedding florist serving couples throughout the region, we love creating designs that are inspired by the places where our couples choose to celebrate. The best floral designs don’t just look beautiful on their own—they make the venue feel even more like your wedding.
